For anyone in HR who wants to upskill on the topic of Learning & Development. You have come to realize L&D is more than just training, and you want to learn more about it.  You considered an external certification, but were afraid you would get a lot of repetition of known concepts (and the prices are high!) With these masterclasses, you can choose the topics you want to learn about and ignore the rest! It takes only 3 hours of your time on Friday afternoon for each Masterclass. It will be delivered online,  in Global English and there will be plenty of opportunity to engage with other participants, and ask questions.

THE MASTERCLASSES

Learning Management Systems and other L&D Technology

In this masterclass you will get an overview of the existing L&D technology, including LMS’s. We dive a bit deeper into the LMS, to see what you need to keep in mind when you implement an LMS and what are considerations when acquiring an LMS from a L&D perspective. What requirements should you put on the table as a frequent admin user of an LMS? There will be ample opportunity for questions and interaction with colleagues from other organizations.

Learning Needs Analysis

In this masterclass you will learn all the ins and outs of doing a thorough Learning Needs Analysis. It will teach you about the difference between “needs” and “wants”, “outcomes” and “output”. It will change the conversation from “we want a training on …” to “we have an issue with…..”.  It will also show you how to implement a more thorough LNA process in a gradual way, to have your organization get used to this new approach. Competency models

 In this masterclass you will get to the core of this famously misunderstood model. It will explain how you can use it to the benefit of the organization as well as your L&D organization. It will look at each individual part of the model and it will have practical implementation tips on how to apply it in your organizations. It will also provide a FAQ that you can use for your organizations, when leaders refer to this model. There will be ample opportunity for questions and interaction with colleagues from other organizations. After this, you can call yourself an expert on the 70-20-10 model.

Mentoring programs
